Cast Placement Auditions: Thursday and Friday, September 14 and 15, 2023!
Participation is open to students in 3rd through 8th grade. All registrants will be cast in the production.
This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

- Prepare a one-minute monologue of your choice. (See the SaintGenesiusProductions.com website for ideas on where to find and prepare monologues.) A callback list with information on who will read for the various roles in the show will be posted on Facebook and on the Saint Genesius website as soon as possible after auditions on Friday, September 15.
- Performers will be asked to read from the script on Saturday, September 16. Plan on being at the Iowa Community Center from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Bring a sack lunch.

A detailed schedule will follow, including Thanksgiving holiday times, an optional field trip to see Willowbrook High School’s production of “The Little Mermaid,” and special Saturday workshops taught by guest artists on topics such as improvisation and fight choreography.
