A Year with Frog and Toad

CAST LIST

Hello, everyone. Thanks for all your excellent work over the past two days, and for your patience as we figured out how to best deploy your many talents. The final cast list is below. Please be aware that some roles, including featured choreography and specific singing parts, will be assigned as we proceed during the rehearsal process.

The entire cast is called to attend rehearsal next weekend. We will make introductions and do our first read through of the show. Please email or text Mrs. Corkery at 630-244-9406 if you will be late or absent for either rehearsal. A reminder that payment is due at the first rehearsal. The fee is $150 per actor, with a discounted fee of $80 for each additional sibling from the same family.

  • Friday, October 25 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Bring a water bottle, a snack, and a pencil for notes. We will be passing out scripts to every cast member that night.
  • Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’ll start off by learning some of the music from the show with Mr. Mikol and then we’ll break up into our drama club teams and spend some time playing games and doing improv related to the show. Please be sure to bring your scripts, lunch, and a water bottle. We’ll take a lunch break at noon

Regular rehearsals • Sacred Heart School —Upper Hall • Fridays 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

About the play: Based on the beloved books by Arnold Lobel, this is one of the most treasured children’s theatre productions. It follows an unlikely friendship between the cheerful Frog and the rather grumpy Toad that blossoms and grows as they travel through four fun-filled seasons learning life lessons along the way. Bursting with a range of colorful supporting animal characters—from birds to moles to a snail delivering mail—this charming musical promises to delight the whole family!

PLEASE NOTE: The schedule below is a draft only and is subject to change. We anticipate that if you are cast in a smaller supporting role or in the ensemble, you will not be called for the entire rehearsal time. HOWEVER, we ask that you be available for the entire time, unless you have noted a conflict. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL MANDATORY TECH REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES!
