Adapted from the classic Broadway musical, Finian’s Rainbow JR. brings audiences the luck of the Irish, with a classic score by Burton Lane and Yip Harburg (Academy Award-winning lyricist of the classic song, “Over the Rainbow,” from the film, The Wizard of Oz).

Finian McLonergan and his daughter, Sharon, emigrate from Ireland to the town of Rainbow Valley in the mythical state of Missitucky.  Missitucky is filled with a unique cast of characters, including Woody Mahoney, Woody’s mute sister, Susan, and a corrupt Senator.  Finian is intent on burying a pilfered pot of gold, which he believes will grow and multiply because of the proximity of Fort Knox. Hot on his heels is Og, a leprechaun, intent on recovering his stolen treasure from Finian before its loss turns Og permanently human.
